FIVE ELEMENTS is an immersive audiovisual, multimedia performance inspired by the five elements of Asian philosophy: Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Ether. Beyond pure music, Daniel Thieme combines live multi-instrumentalism, projected imagery, and physical interaction into a dynamic dialogue between sound, movement, and image—transforming the stage into a evolving sensory landscape. About Daniel: Hamburg-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and visual artist with a classical piano background. His diverse career includes piano, singing, and bass at the Hamburg Conservatory (HfMT), playing in the Mbalax band Djolof, founding his own project Ocean Grooves, and receiving a Berklee College of Music scholarship (2000). He has worked in theatre productions (Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Thalia Hamburg, Theater Lübeck) and major musicals like The Lion King and Hamilton. Collaborations with Wir sind Helden, Roger Cicero, Dominique Horwitz, Daniel Hope, and Ethiopian artists Hamelmal Abate and Manalemosh Dibo enrich his work.
